This peer-reviewed study explores the potential of Lodestar DX, utilising loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) technology, to rapidly and accurately diagnose urinary tract infections (UTIs) in symptomatic adult females.

The evaluation’s findings highlight that Lodestar DX demonstrates a strong correlation with gold-standard laboratory methods for UTI diagnosis in this patient group. This suggests Lodestar DX can be a valuable tool for rapid and accurate UTI detection, potentially improving patient care and antimicrobial stewardship.
