On Thursday 6 November Llusern CEO Dr Emma Hayhurst and Managing Director Martyn Lewis attended the Barclays Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2025 in London.
Llusern was a nominee in the Innovation in Health & Life Sciences category and were one of a handful invited to attend the event held at HERE on Charing Cross Road from more than 1,000 contenders. Congratulations to the winners of the category award – MapMyMole – and our thanks go to the life science team at Barclays for the nomination.
Last week also saw the release of a interview with Emma on the Beyond Biotech podcast from Labiotech. Emma spent time talking to the host, Dylan Kissane, about Llusern’s mission to impact UTI detection and the origins of the business from a lab bench at the University of South Wales in 2016 through to being nominated for prestigious industry awards at glamorous venues.
