Laurence Tisi
Laurence is the former President of the Molecular Division at Erba Mannheim and holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge in Structural Biology. Following post-doctorate work at the Institute of Biotechnology at Cambridge he formed Lumora Limited in 2004. Laurence holds several patents relating to nucleic acid amplification.
At Lumora Laurence raised Seed, Series A, B and C rounds and in 2015 he led the sales of Lumora to Erba Mannheim. At Erba he went on to launch CE-marked freeze dried SARS-CoV-2 PCR assay (2021) and a molecular TB assay (2022).
Laurence joined Llusern Scientific as a Non-executive Director in April 2026.
